Oktober 2020, fand im Dock3 Lausitz am Industriepark Schwarze Pumpe die Konferenz der Großen Lausitzrunde statt. In ihrer Eröffnungsrede betonte Christine Herntier, Sprecherin des kommunalen Bündnisses von Lausitzer Bürgermeistern und Gemeindevertretern die anhaltende Bedeutung der Lausitzrunde im Prozess des Strukturwandels. Behandelt wurden zudem die Themen Entwicklungsstrategie und Ansiedlungsoffensive Lausitz. Das neue Kompetenz- und Gründerzentrum Dock3 in Schwarze Pumpe. Es wude im Auftraggeber des Zweckverbandes Industriepark Schwarze Pumpe 2020 eröffnet, es liegt auf der Landesgrenze von Sachsen
Denkmal 10.10.2020 Zum 30. Jahrestag der Deutschen Einheit ist in Dessau in Sachsen-Anhalt ein Denkmal für den früheren sowjetischen Präsidenten Gorbatschow eingeweiht worden. Das von dem Bildhauer Bernd Göbel geschaffene Kunstwerk solle an seine herausragende Rolle bei der Wiedervereinigung Deutschlands erinnern, sagte Ministerpräsident Haseloff in Dessau. Gorbatschows Wirken für Perestroika und Glasnost habe erst die Voraussetzungen für die Deutsche Einheit geschaffen. Das Denkmal wurde aus Spendenmitteln finanziert; Initiator war der frühere Dessauer Oberbürgermeister Otto. News Bilder des Tages Die Ministerpräsidentin des Landes Mecklenburg Vorpommern Manuela Schwesig würdigt am Sonntag (04.10.2020) in Schwerin vor der örtlichen Staatskanzlei die die Leistungen der Bauern im Land.
