The vehicles transported to the airport were affected, especially under bridges, where rainwater and sewage from the sewers covered some cars, preventing their owners from getting them out in time. Mexico City sanitation and water workers are working constantly using machinery to remove water from these tunnels and unclog the sewers to remove vehicles that have been totally lost.
