New Prague–Berlin–Copenhagen rail link to be launched at the main station

  • Three European capitals, Prague, Berlin, and Copenhagen, are now connected by a new rail line, which was officially launched at Berlin s main train station by representatives of the European Commission (EC), the German government, and the rail companies of the three countries today, on Friday, June 26, 2026. The line was officially launched by Michal Krapinec (not seen), CEO of Czech national rail operator Ceske drahy (CD), German Transport Minister Patrick Schnieder (middle), European Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism Apostolos Tzitzikostas (not seen) and representatives of railway companies, including Krapinec.
