Cookies and Web Analytics
In order to make visiting our website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions, to display suitable products or for market research, we use so-called cookies on various pages. This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO as part of a weighing of interests.
Some of the cookies we use are deleted after the end of the browser session, i.e. after closing your browser (so-called session cookies). Other cookies remain on your end device and enable us to recognize your browser during your next visit (persistent cookies). You can find the duration of the storage in the overview in the cookie settings of your web browser. You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and decide individually whether to accept them or whether to exclude the acceptance of cookies in certain cases or in general. Each browser differs in the way it manages the cookie settings. This is also described in the help menu of each browser, which explains how you can change your cookie settings. These can be found for each browser under the following links:
If cookies are not accepted, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
Use of Google (Universal) Analytics for Web Analytics
This website uses Google (Universal) Analytics for website analysis. The web analytics service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under Irish law and having its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.com). This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO. Google (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable the analysis of your use of the website, such as cookies. The automatically collected information about your use of this website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymization on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymous IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The data collected in this context will be deleted after we have stopped using Google Analytics for the intended purpose and at the end of its use.
Insofar as information is transferred to Google servers in the USA and stored there, the American company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield.
You can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available under the following link:: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Find out more about the data protection conditions of Google and Google Analytics at: http://www.google.com/analytics/terms/us.html or https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/.
As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can click this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data from this website in the future. An opt-out cookie is stored on your device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again.
This website also uses Google Signals. This is an extension function of Google Analytics that enables so-called "cross-device tracking". This means that if your Internet-enabled devices are linked to your Google Account, Google can generate reports on usage behavior (especially cross-device user numbers) even if you change your device. Google will use data for this purpose if you have activated the "personalized advertising" setting in your Google Account. This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO as part of a weighing of interests. We do not process personal data in this respect; we only receive statistics based on Google Signals.
You can deactivate the setting "personalized advertising" in your Google account at any time and thus object to a recording by Google Signals.
Use of eTracker for web analysis
For website analysis purposes, data is automatically collected and stored on this website using technologies from eTracker GmbH (www.etracker.com), from which user profiles are created using pseudonyms. This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO as part of a weighing of interests. Cookies may be used for this purpose. The pseudonymised user profiles are not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym without express consent to be given separately. The data collected in this context will be deleted after we have ceased to use eTracker for the intended purpose and at the end of its use. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future by clicking this link.
After your objection, an opt-out cookie will be stored on your end device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again.
Google Ads Remarketing
We use Google Ads to advertise this website in Google search results and on third-party websites. When you visit our website, Google sets a remarketing cookie, which automatically uses a pseudonymous cookie ID and the pages you visit to enable interest-based advertising. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The data collected in this context will be deleted after we have ceased to use Google Ads Remarketing for the intended purpose and at the end of its use.
Further data processing will only take place if you have agreed to Google linking your web and app browser history to your Google account and using information from your Google account to personalize advertisements you see on the web. In this case, if you are logged in to Google while browsing our website, Google will use your information in conjunction with Google Analytics data to create and define cross-device remarketing audience lists. For this purpose, Google temporarily links your personal data to Google Analytics data in order to form target groups.
Google Ads is an offer from Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under Irish law and located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.de). Where information is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States, the U.S. company Google LLC is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. On the basis of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has established an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. You can deactivate the remarketing cookie via this link. You can also contact the Digital Advertising Alliance to find out how to set cookies and to configure your settings.
Through BingAds we advertise this website in the Bing, Yahoo and MSN search results as well as on third party websites. For this purpose, when you visit our website, a cookie is automatically set, which automatically enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous CookieID and on the basis of the pages you visit. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The data collected in this context will be deleted after we have ceased to use BingAds Remarketing for the intended purpose and at the end of its use. BingAds is an offer of the Microsoft Corporation (www.microsoft.com). Microsoft Corporation has its headquarters in the USA and is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate can be viewed here. As a result of this agreement between the USA and the European Commission, the latter has determined an appropriate level of data protection for companies certified under the Privacy Shield. You can deactivate the remarketing cookie via this link. You can also contact the Digital Advertising Alliance to find out how to set cookies and to configure your settings.
Through our advertising partner AdRoll Advertising Limited, Level 6, 1, Burlington Plaza, Burlington Road, Dublin 4, Ireland, we advertise this website in search results and on third party websites. For this purpose, when you visit our website, a cookie from these providers or their partners is automatically set, which enables interest-based advertising by means of a pseudonymous cookie ID and on the basis of the pages you visit. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimal marketing of our website in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The data collected in this context will be deleted after we have ceased to use AdRoll Retargeting for the intended purpose and at the end of its use. You can deactivate the retargeting cookie by clicking on one of the following links: https://app.adroll.com/optout/safari
For the purpose of protection against misuse of our web forms and against spam, we use the Google reCAPTCHA service within the framework of some forms on this website. Google reCAPTCHA is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland and located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (www.google.de). By checking a manual entry, this service prevents automated software (so-called bots) from performing abusive activities on the Website. Pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f DSGVO, this serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in the protection of our website from misuse and in a trouble-free presentation of our online presence as part of a balancing of interests.
Use social plugins from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Xing, using the Shariff solution.
On our website, social buttons are used by social networks. This serves to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimal marketing of our offer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. f DSGVO. In order to increase the protection of your data when you visit our website, these buttons are not integrated into the page without restriction as plug-ins, but only using an HTML link. This integration ensures that when a page of our website containing such buttons is accessed, no connection is established with the servers of the provider of the respective social network.
If you click on one of the buttons, a new window of your browser opens and calls up the page of the respective service provider, on which you can press (if necessary after input of your login data) e.g. the Like or Share button.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by the providers on their pages, as well as a contact option and your rights and setting options in this regard to protect your privacy, please refer to the privacy notices of the providers:
Our online presence on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, Xing, LinkedIn
Our presence on social networks and platforms serves a better, active communication with our customers and prospective customers. We inform them about our products and ongoing special promotions.
When you visit our online presence in social media, your data may be automatically collected and stored for market research and advertising purposes. From this data, so-called usage profiles are created using pseudonyms. These can be used, for example, to place advertisements inside and outside the platforms that presumably correspond to your interests. Cookies are generally used on your terminal device for this purpose. The visitor behavior and the interests of the users are stored in these cookies. This serves in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO to safeguard our predominantly legitimate interests in an optimized presentation of our offer and effective communication with customers and interested parties within the scope of a weighing of interests. If you are asked by the respective social media platform operators for their consent to data processing, e.g. with the help of a checkbox, the legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
Insofar as the aforementioned social media platforms have their headquarters in the USA, the following applies: The European Commission has issued an adequacy decision for the USA. This goes back to the EU-US Privacy Shield. A current certificate for the respective company can be viewed here.
The detailed information on the processing and use of the data by the providers on their pages as well as a contact option and your rights and settings to protect your privacy, in particular opt-out options, can be found in the data protection information of the providers linked below.
Facebook Pixel, Facebook Custom Audiences and Facebook Conversion
Within our online offer, the so-called "Facebook pixel" of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are resident in the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"), is used.
With the help of the Facebook pixel, Facebook is able on the one hand to determine you as a visitor of our online offer as the target group for the presentation of ads (so-called "Facebook ads"). Accordingly, we use Facebook pixels to display Facebook ads placed by us only to Facebook users who have shown an interest in our online services or who have certain features (e.g. interests in certain topics or products that are determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called "custom audiences"). Using Facebook pixels, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads match the potential interest of users and are not annoying. Using Facebook pixels, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were referred to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (known as "conversion").
Facebook processes the data in accordance with Facebook's data usage policy. For general information on how Facebook ads are displayed, please refer to Facebook's Data Usage Policy. Specific information and details about Facebook pixels and how they work can be found in the Facebook help section.
Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law.
The use of Facebook Pixel and the storage of "conversion cookies" is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in analyzing user behavior in order to optimize both our website and our advertising.
Order data processing contract
For the processing of the data for which Facebook acts as an order data processor, we have concluded an order data processing agreement with Facebook in which we oblige Facebook to protect the data of our customers and not to pass it on to third parties.
E-mail advertising with newsletter registration
You can subscribe to our newsletter on our website. We need your e-mail address for this purpose. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will use the data required for this purpose or provided separately by you in order to send you our e-mail newsletter regularly on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6 Para. 1 S. 1 lit. a DSGVO. The newsletter will be sent by a service provider within the scope of processing on our behalf, to whom we will forward your e-mail address for this purpose. This service provider is located within a country of the European Union or the European Economic Area.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time and either by sending a message to the contact option described below, via the link provided for this purpose in the newsletter or via the unsubscribe function on our website at https://www.imago-images.com/site/newsletter. After you have unsubscribed, we will delete your e-mail address from the recipient list unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or unless we reserve the right to use your data for other purposes, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this declaration.
E-mail advertising without registration for the newsletter and your right of objection
If we receive your e-mail address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not objected to this, we reserve the right to send you regular offers for similar products to those already purchased from our range by e-mail on the basis of § 7 para. 3 UWG. This serves to protect our predominantly legitimate interests in an advertising approach to our customers within the framework of a weighing of interests. You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time by sending a message to the contact option described below or via a link provided for this purpose in the advertising mail without incurring any costs other than the transmission costs according to the basic tariffs. The newsletter is sent as part of a processing on our behalf by a service provider to whom we forward your e-mail address for this purpose. This service provider is located within a country of the European Union.
Provision of chargeable services
If you wish to use the chargeable services offered on our website, we may need to collect additional information from you for billing and security purposes. We regularly ask for your name, a valid e-mail address and, if applicable, your address and telephone number as well as further information, depending on the individual case. It may also include content that allows us to verify the information provided, such as your ownership of the email address provided. For legal reasons, we must ensure that you actually wish to receive the services offered and that we can properly invoice you for them. We work in payment transactions to secure your data with the encryption standard SSL, recognizable by the browser line "https://".
Collection of access data
The delivery and presentation of content via our website technically requires the collection of certain data. When you access our website, these so-called server log files are recorded by us or the provider of the web space. These log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you or your person. The corresponding information consists of the name of the website, the file, the current date, the amount of data, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you switched to our site, and the corresponding IP address. We use this data to display and deliver our content and for statistical purposes. The information supports the provision and continuous improvement of our services. We also reserve the right to subsequently check the data mentioned should there be any suspicion of illegal use of our services.
Contents and services of third parties
The content on our website may also include content, services and performances of other providers which supplement our offer. Examples of such offerings include Google Maps, YouTube videos, or third-party graphics. Calling up these services from third parties regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This makes it possible for these providers to perceive your user IP address and also to store it. We make every effort to include only those third-party providers who use IP addresses solely for the delivery of content. However, we have no influence on which third party provider may store the IP address. This storage can, for example, serve statistical purposes. Should we become aware of storage processes by third parties, we will immediately inform our users of this fact. In this context, please also note the special data protection declarations for individual third party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. You will also find them in this privacy statement.
We collect personal data in the context of data avoidance and data economy only to the extent and for as long as it is necessary for the use of our website, or as required by law. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and adhere strictly to the relevant statutory regulations and this data protection declaration when collecting and processing personal data. If the purpose of the data collection no longer applies or the end of the legal storage period has been reached, the collected data will be blocked or deleted. Our website can be used regularly without the passing on of personal data. If we collect personal data - such as your name, address or e-mail address - this data collection is voluntary. These data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data is generally not always transmitted securely on the Internet. Particularly in e-mail traffic, the protection of data exchange cannot be guaranteed.
The server logfiles are anonymous data that are collected when you access our website. This information does not allow conclusions to be drawn about you personally, but is indispensable for technical reasons for the delivery and presentation of our content. Furthermore, they serve our statistics and the continuous optimization of our content. Typical log files are the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for access and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of the provider commissioned by you, the page from which you came to our offer (referrer URL) and your IP address. Logfiles also enable us to check the content of our website if we suspect that it has been used unlawfully.
Our website uses SSL encryption for the transmission of confidential or personal content of our users. This encryption is activated, for example, during the processing of payment transactions as well as in the case of enquiries you make to us via our website. Please make sure that the SSL encryption is activated by your side during corresponding activities. The use of encryption is easy to recognize: The display in your browser line changes from "http://" to "https://". Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Only transmit your confidential information if SSL encryption is activated and contact us if in doubt.
Objection to advertising e-mails
In the context of the legal imprint obligation we must publish our contact data. These will be used by third parties to send unsolicited advertising and information. We hereby object to any sending of advertising material of any kind not expressly authorized by us. Furthermore, we expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the unwanted and unsolicited sending of advertising material. This applies in particular to so-called spam e-mails, spam letters and spam faxes. We would like to point out that the unauthorized transmission of advertising material can affect competition law, civil law and criminal law. Spam e-mails and spam faxes in particular can lead to high claims for damages if they disrupt business operations by overfilling mailboxes or fax machines.
Encrypted payment transactions
We secure your data in payment transactions. Therefore, for security reasons and to protect your confidential and personal contents, our site uses SSL encryption during the transmission of payment transactions. You can determine for yourself whether SSL encryption is activated or not. You can recognize the use of encryption by the address line of the browser. Data transmission is only encrypted if the regular display changes from "http://" to "https://". The browser line "https://" indicates the use of SSL encryption, payment transactions are now encrypted. Activating SSL encryption makes it impossible for third parties to read your confidential data. Therefore, transmit your data only if SSL encryption is activated.

You will receive at any time and free of charge information about the personal data stored by us concerning your person as well as the origin, the recipient and the purpose of data collection and data processing. In addition, you have the right to demand the correction, blocking or deletion of your data. Excluded from this are data which are stored due to legal regulations or which are required for the proper processing of business. To ensure that a data block can be implemented at any time, data is stored in a block file for control purposes.
